In January 2008 we brought training in compost making, fruit tree care and gardens to rural Ugandan communities in Masaka and Kayunga districts. Everyone was so happy to be given the opportunity to be involved, really getting that they can grow food organically and be healthy.
We ran the training at local schools and parents and community were so curious. Many went home and created home gardens.
