Meeting the needs of climate change and deforestation, the uni volunteers iniated and created an energy efficient stove for the new school. In Uganda most stoves are fueled with wood or charcoal, continuing to deplete the natural resources. In some places people travel all day to find some wood or pay an exorbant fee for charcoal. This stove is an innovative, simple to use, simple to make and easily replicated technology designed for maximum fuel efficiency, lessening the pressure on forests and producing less green house gases.
